Who is DFS?

DFS, reseller to the trade, is a member of the NEBS Business Products Ltd. family. DFS appoints the dealer as a non-exclusive authorized forms dealer to sell DFS products to end users.

In addition, DFS offers sales materials to help you promote that you offer certain products. These sales tools are offered FREE of charge to dealers. How does your billing system work?

DFS will bill the dealer only. It is the responsibility of the dealer to bill and collect payment from their own customer. All orders are invoiced separately after the order has been shipped. Our terms are net 30 days from date of invoice. We ship on open account, subject to credit approval. If our credit department has questions, we will call you.

How do I place an order?

There are several convenient ways to order:

What is your shipping method?

DFS will prepay the shipping charges, provided the dealer uses our preferred shipping method of UPS Ground or Canada Post and ship to dealer or end users as specified on order form. If the dealer chooses their own shipping method, the full cost of shipping will be invoiced to the dealer.

Screens, Graduated Fills, or Pantographs.

Please remove all screens, graduated fills and pantograph designs from your artwork. Simply indicate the location of screening, or send us samples of the artwork with and without the screen.

Send backprinting copy and pantographs in solid black art, and we will screen them in. Our standard screen is 20%. However, we can print any percent you request.

Bendays.

Bendays are screened background logos. Remove the benday from the main form and send it as solid black artwork. Indicate the benday location and approximate size to ensure accurate placement and composition. Standard shading is 12% unless otherwise requested.

Additional Colours.

If colours are not touching on artwork, it's not necessary to send colour separations. Indicate colour placements and we will make the separations.

We can drop in blockout. Just indicate the location.

Custom Logo Samples.

Digital Art Instructions:
You may also send a clear black-and-white print of the custom logo, preferably original artwork. We cannot work from photographs, raised print samples or sketches. The design must not contain screen tints or fine lines. Allow additional time for processing. A copy of all logo art will be retained in DFS files to expedite future orders.

Who pays for shipping?

DFS will absorb the full cost of the shipping, provided the dealer uses our preferred shipping method. If the dealer chooses their own shipping method, the full cost of shipping will be invoiced to the dealer.

How do I pay for my order?

DFS bills Dealers only. All orders are invoiced separately after shipping, net 30 days from date of invoice. We ship on open account, subject to credit approval. DFS does not offer COD shipping. Orders are subject to credit approval. Pre-payment will speed orders through our credit department. With credit approval, terms are net 30 days from the date of the invoice. Otherwise, terms are payment with order. New orders with past due accounts are held until outstanding balance is cleared up. We reserve the right to change dealer status if payment history warrants. We accept major credit cards. Ask your Dealer Customer Service Representative for details.

When can I expect to receive my order?

DFS processes and ships standard imprints within three to five business days, stock products ship within 24 hours, and orders with custom artwork and special printing instructions will ship 10 business days from receipt of your proof approval.

How does the DFS pricing structure work?

You will earn generous profit margins on the following product lines: custom printing, cheques, forms, labels, stationery, greeting cards and calendars. DFS provides suggested target profit margins for each product line and service, however it is up to the dealer's discretion to determine his/her profit margins.

We can produce most products with your choice of ink colour. Through our custom forms department.
